1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the Collection-Bound mobile application or reference website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of the platform.

2. UNOFFICIAL FAN STATUS & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Standalone Fan Project: This Service is a standalone, unofficial fan project.

No Affiliation: The Service is not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with Riot Games, UVS Games, or the official creators of the Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game.

Third-Party Trademarks: All Riftbound card assets, text, names, images, and logos are the sole intellectual property of their respective trademark and copyright holders. Collection-Bound claims no ownership or proprietary rights over official game assets or official lore texts.

Platform Ownership: Content generated natively by the Service—including specific user interface elements, database categorization structures, code architectures, and unique structural summaries—remains the exclusive property of Collection-Bound. Our original research and compilation work (such as how promo and collectible information is gathered, checked, categorized, and presented) is the work of Collection-Bound, but it describes game content that belongs to Riot Games and its licensors. Collection-Bound claims no ownership of the underlying cards, card sets, names, artwork, text, or other Riftbound intellectual property.

3. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Collection-Bound is a dedicated informational and collection-tracking platform designed for fans of the Riftbound Trading Card Game (TCG). The Service provides:

Lore Resources: Educational, deep-dive lore resources exploring the narrative background of the Riftbound TCG, specifically highlighting expanded lore elements not present within the League of Legends MOBA game.

Multilingual Ledger: A multilingual digital tracking ledger enabling users to log, monitor, and organize their personal inventory of physical or digital Riftbound TCG promo cards and collectibles across all four (4) officially supported languages.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Service does not offer deck-building tools, match-making utilities, or gameplay statistics analysis. The Play Simulator is an educational practice tool for learning the game and is not a competitive or match-making service.

4. MEMBERSHIP TIERS, FEES, AND SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

By purchasing a paid membership or subscription ("Membership"), you agree to the following conditions:

Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Membership Tiers and Fees: The Service offers two recurring membership plans, billed monthly or yearly:

Club Membership: Billed at $5.00 USD per month, or $50.00 USD per year (equal to two months free), plus applicable sales tax.

VIP Membership: Billed at $15.00 USD per month, or $150.00 USD per year (equal to two months free), plus applicable sales tax.

Automatic Renewal: By subscribing to either tier, you authorize our secure third-party payment processors to charge your selected payment method immediately, and automatically on a recurring monthly or yearly basis, matching the plan you choose, on the same calendar date until you cancel.

No Metagame Violations: In compliance with external ecosystem restrictions, you may not use your membership or our platform to compile, scrape, or publish metagame-defining data (e.g., automated platform-wide deck win rates or match-up differentials) that violates community developer policies.

5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your Club or VIP membership at any time via your account settings dashboard or by emailing customer support.

Billing Cycle Completion: Upon cancellation, your premium tracking features will remain fully active until the end of your current paid billing period. For yearly plans, access continues until the end of the paid year. Your subscription will not renew on the next billing date, and no further charges will be made. You must cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next cycle's fee.

Yearly Plan Refund Window: If you buy a yearly plan, you may request a full refund of that first yearly payment within seven (7) days of the purchase date by emailing customerservice@unravelingtherift.com from your account email. Refunds under this window are available only once per account, and only for the first yearly payment, not for renewals. If we find that you have downloaded, exported, or shared Non-Public Content during the window, we may decline the refund. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, and your membership returns to the free tier.

Strict No-Refund Rule: Except for the Yearly Plan Refund Window above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all payments for Club and VIP memberships are strictly non-refundable. We do not offer partial refunds, pro-rated credits, or cash returns for mid-period cancellations or periods of inactivity.

Immediate Value Access: Because both tiers grant immediate access to digital server resources, localized collection-tracking tools, and exclusive data, you acknowledge that you forfeit any right to a refund once a billing transaction is completed.

Billing Anomalies: If a documented technical error on our platform results in an accidental double-charge, we will issue a direct refund for the duplicate transaction upon verification.

6. USER DATA & MULTILINGUAL INVENTORY

Data Processing License: By inputting collection counts, inventory states, or card ownership data into the Service across the 4 distinct languages, you grant Collection-Bound a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, compile, and anonymize this item data solely for the purposes of managing your cloud account registry and displaying aggregate community item-rarity data.

Data Ownership: You retain ownership of your literal input data, but you acknowledge that data processing is required to deliver the core tracker functions.

7. USER OBLIGATIONS & PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You expressly agree not to use automated scripts, scrapers, data-mining tools, bots, or spiders to systematically extract card data, localized translations, lore archives, or collectible matrices from the Service. You shall not attempt to breach or compromise server security, inject malicious scripts, or create artificial traffic spikes that interfere with the localized tracking performance of other users.

8. MEMBER-ONLY CONTENT, NO REDISTRIBUTION, AND WATERMARKING

Personal Use Only: The Service, including its promo and collectible research, checklists, filters, statistics, and any exports, is made available to members for their own personal collecting. Much of our promo and collectible research has been compiled by Collection-Bound and is not publicly available elsewhere ("Non-Public Content"). We retain our rights in our original research, compilation, and organization to the fullest extent permitted by law; this does not extend to Riot Games' underlying intellectual property, which remains the property of Riot Games and its licensors, and members' use of that property remains subject to Riot's own policies.

No Copying or Redistribution: Without our prior written permission, you may not: (a) copy, scrape, harvest, or bulk-download any part of the Service; (b) republish, redistribute, sell, or share Non-Public Content in any form, including screenshots, screen recordings, exports, spreadsheets, social media posts, forums, group chats, or other websites; (c) use automated tools or bots to access the Service; (d) share, sell, or allow another person to use your login; or (e) attempt to remove, hide, or alter any watermark or other protective measure. Collection data that you entered yourself remains yours, and you may keep and use your own exported copy of that data for your personal records.

Watermarking and Account Tracing: To help prevent unauthorized sharing, the Service displays a faint watermark containing your account email address across the page, and a brand watermark over images. By using the Service, you understand and agree that screenshots, recordings, or copies of the Service may identify your account through these watermarks, and that we may use them to identify the source of unauthorized sharing and to enforce these Terms.

Enforcement: If we reasonably believe you have violated this Section, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund, remove content, and take any other action available to us under law.

9. DISCLAIMERS & "AS-IS" SERVICE

Informational Purposes Only: While Collection-Bound strives to deliver highly detailed and immersive lore summaries bridging the gaps between the League of Legends MOBA and the Riftbound TCG, all lore logs, promo checklists, and collectible details are provided strictly for informational and entertainment purposes.

No Guarantees: We make no guarantees, warranties, or legal representations regarding the complete canonical accuracy, factual finality, or chronological sequence of the lore or real-time card data presented, as the underlying game universes are subject to retroactive changes by their official publishers. Server stability, item indices, and pricing metrics are not guaranteed.

User Reliance: Users rely on the data provided by this app entirely at their own risk.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (CRITICAL SECTION)

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS THE PERSONAL CIVIL LIABILITY OF THE OPERATORS.

No Corporate Status: You explicitly acknowledge and agree that the Service is currently owned and operated by an individual or an unincorporated group of individuals ("Operators"), and is not currently organized as a limited liability company (LLC) or corporation.

Disclaimer of Warranties: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided entirely on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without express or implied warranties of any kind. The Operators explicitly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Exclusion of Damages: Under no circumstances shall the Operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, corruption or deletion of your logged promo inventory, temporary server outages, incorrect lore translations across the 4 supported languages, modifications to collectible indices, or card collection devaluation, even if the Operators were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Absolute Financial Cap: In no event shall the total, aggregate liability of the Operators for any and all claims, contracts, torts, or legal disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service exceed the total amount actually paid by you to the Operators for your active Membership during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability, or $50.00 USD, whichever is greater.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Operators from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your breach of these Terms.

Your violation of any third-party intellectual property rights (including Riot Games or UVS Games rules).

Any custom content or data you upload to the Service.

12. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your membership account and access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason—including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and no refunds for remaining subscription periods will be issued unless required by law.

13. AMENDMENTS & MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to amend or replace these Terms of Service at our discretion. When changes occur, the updated revision date will be prominently reflected at the top of this document. Continued engagement with the tracking utility or lore database after modifications are made constitutes full legal acceptance of the updated terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or dispute arising out of this Service must be resolved through binding individual arbitration in Seattle, WA, and you waive your right to participate in a class-action lawsuit.
